New Tabs are Exciting

Dear Peoples of the Bloggety Blog World,

This is just a quick update to let my followers know that I added a new Works In Progress tab so people can keep up to date with my writing. I'll keep up with the word count there and I'll set release dates as I get closer to finishing them. I'll also use this tab to share excerpts now and again. I have one up now. I hope this is something you're all interested in. If not, feel free to ignore it. Thank you for being awesome readers, followers, and friends.

Charlie

You're a busy guy Charlie.

I spend way too much time sleeping. I see that now.

Bryan, it helps that I don't have a job beside this one at the moment.

Well look at you getting all professional with tabs and stuff. Next thing you know, I'll be coming here and you'll have a fancy Flash thing going on.

I've thought about integrating my little cartoons into flash movies, but it seemed like way too much work. I'd rather direct my energies into writing more.

I've just discovered the tabs and they help to make the place tidy as well as give people someting else to look at and check out.

I like tidy.

Tabs. I am impressed. I am the Wiley E. Coyote of blogdom! I also write YA (urban fantasies). I find a book trailer and a great looking cover help a bit. Or being John Locke or Alex Cavanaugh!

I followed from Brent's blog. Great luck! Roland -- you have a new follower : me. :-)

Try not to blow yourself up or fall off any blog cliffs, Roland. Nice to meet you and welcome aboard my little odd blog.

I saw your comment on Brent's blog and thought I would add something here. I have an avid teen reader who probably reads a book a day. She says that there are no "sarcastic" books for teens. She likes my Christopher Moore books but sometimes the subject matter is a little too adult. Just thought I would throw this at you.

Sarcasm is very hard to write, let alone write well. My zombie guide is a touch sarcastic at times. John Green is sarcastic, but can get a little adult too. Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor is also a good choice if she reads fantasy. Jasper Fforde can be sarcastic and very smart. Hope that helps.

Thanks Charlie! Just downloaded the Zombie book to our Kindle library - we can both read it! I'll see if she has tried any of the others.

Sweet! I hope you like it. I think it is very very funny, but I am rather biased. I also hope your daughter gets a kick out of some of my suggestions.
